Our hosts were amazing, quick to respond and helpful whenever we needed something. The accommodation was charming and clean. We were in Durham to drop our son at the university, and the location worked perfectly, away from the bustle but still only about a 10-minute drive. We highly recommend staying here.

The kitchen has everything we needed, including a dishwasher and washing machine, and the place was warm enough that we didn’t need the heating. It’s a really nice, clean place, ideal for a couple, with a very comfortable bed, an en suite, and a great shower. The public house John recommends is only a short distance away and offers a handy 10% discount if you’re on a budget. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

A lovely cottage in a great spot near Durham. We had a lovely break there while driving up to Scotland.
