The Limes Country Lodge

Lunch was lovely, and it's a great place to visit. Sarah was friendly and really helpful, with excellent customer service. I came with a friend who's been here many times, and I'd definitely recommend having lunch here.

We enjoyed the food on both days, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We stayed here this year before Crufts, and it's always our choice when we're in the area for Crufts.

We had a family room, and it was more than adequate for us. The food and service were great at both dinner and breakfast. A nice, clean, friendly hotel in a lovely setting, and just right for what we needed 😁

We booked Christmas Day lunch for 110 pounds per head, and there were four of us. It was a four-course meal, but the garlic bread and mushrooms starter was very soggy because the sauce had soaked into the bread. I have diabetes and ate some because I needed food. The main course portions weren't big, and most of the food was burnt. Two people in our party didn't touch their meals. I ate some too, again because I needed food, and complained repeatedly, but nothing changed. The manager didn't seem to care and told two of us to leave. They offered no alternative or refund. The attitude was very bad. It was a disgusting experience and one of the worst places I've eaten, even though we eat out most weeks. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
