Holiday Inn Express London-Epsom Downs

The breakfast area was clean and well organized, with the usual hot choices like sausages and scrambled eggs, along with pastries and cereal. It’s included with the Express Start Breakfast, though the coffee unfortunately wasn’t good. The hotel is reliably clean and comfortable, from the public areas to the rooms. Comfortable beds and effective blackout curtains made for a restful night. Staff are friendly and quick to respond, and the occasional housekeeping problem is usually sorted out promptly.

Handy for walks on Epsom Downs, with a nice view from the bedroom window, and for getting to the race course. It’s a quiet place to stay outside the centre of Epsom, with friendly staff and a good breakfast available. Arriving after midnight was possible. The only snag was the fairly noisy air conditioning.

Breakfast is included and has plenty of options, including gluten-free choices. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and staff were welcoming wherever we went. The location worked really well for the area, and there’s free WiFi if you’re an IHG member. Love this hotel, highly recommend it, and I’ll book again.

The breakfast was varied and good quality, and it came included with the stay. Rooms were comfortable, the lobby is huge, and the staff were friendly. It’s a convenient, good-value hotel, with two pubs nearby by Epsom racecourse for evening food and drinks.
