The room was gorgeous and extremely clean, and the complimentary Nespresso pods were a lovely extra. We went in already hearing good things about the pub, and the pints and Sunday roast absolutely lived up to that. We'd recommend it to everyone.

The location is central, so we could walk everywhere, and the bar noise was expected. We actually liked hearing it. Our room was spotless, cosy, and comfortable. The staff were lovely, and Anna especially deserves a mention for excellent customer service. We wanted somewhere different from a hotel this time, and the Turks Head fit perfectly. It's an easy choice for somewhere to stay next time we're back. Thank you to the Turks Head.

I truly appreciate the Turks Head. I've stayed there so many times, and the rooms are always brilliant, individual, clean, and well furnished. As a pub, it's got everything: phenomenal beer, great food, and fantastic staff. Luke and the team know what they're doing.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but enjoyed a lovely meal in a place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. It's close to the shops in the town centre, with easy walks for shopping. We also loved the nearby mediaeval church.

Great beer, a big cosy room with an en-suite, and really friendly staff made for a lovely stay. The location is right in the centre too.
