We were told there wasn’t room for us when we tried to get dinner just after 5pm, right as they’d opened. We hadn’t booked, and they asked us about a reservation. There was only one table occupied in the restaurant and two people in the pub, so it was hard to see how they couldn’t fit us in. We asked whether we could eat in the pub, but were told it used the same kitchen. They simply didn’t care, and we went elsewhere without any trouble. Maybe we should have booked, but an explanation that there was a function on would have landed better than being told they couldn’t help us, even in the pub because it was the same kitchen.

We booked a table for a family meal while visiting family in Fife Keith, as a thank you for letting us stay with them. It was a quiet, chilled visit, and we all enjoyed the meal. The menu had lots of choices as well as a specials board, and the food was delicious and nicely presented. Service was very good. We hadn’t tried the restaurant on earlier visits, and its convenient location made it an easy choice. We’d recommend it and will book again next time we’re visiting family.

Awful experience. The staff were rude and the food was terrible, not fresh at all. The chips tasted like grease, and the fillets were a joke. I wouldn’t go back.

We were delighted with dinner tonight. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the chef is clearly talented. The attention to detail was amazing, right down to the blueberries on top of the scrumptious cheesecake getting smaller in size. The ladies who greeted and served us were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
