Rose Ann and Jhan at reception took great care of me during my lovely stay at Muthu Hotel. My single room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely modern bathroom. The water pressure and heat were good, and I appreciated the clean floors and windows.

The location made getting around Fort William very easy. Muthu Fort William Hotel is right on the main road, an easy walk from the town centre, waterfront, and plenty of restaurants. After long days travelling and filming, I appreciated being able to get around so easily. The staff were genuinely welcoming and made an effort to chat, offer local tips, and look after me from check-in. My room was clean, quiet at night, and more spacious than I expected. The bed helped me get proper rest, and the heating worked perfectly after coming in from the cold Highland air. This was a surprisingly warm and comfortable stop on my Highlands trip, with good value and friendly service. I'd happily stay here again for hiking, sightseeing, or filming.

We had a fantastic night away and would come back. The place was clean and really nice, with great service and breakfast. The one downside was how much noise came through from the next door rooms, including the TV. The mattress was also a bit too firm for my taste.

The staff were polite and helpful, and I appreciated the miniature toiletries, crisps, and hairdryer in the room. But it wasn't worth the price. The hotel felt dated, and every breakfast item was awful, including the coffee, juice, and food. The beds and pillows were so hard that I slept badly. At £40 a night, it might have made sense.

We had a great stay while visiting for a winter hike up ben nevis, and I couldn't have asked for a comfier bed to come back to. Dinner was fantastic, especially the delicious steak. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, and Deepek deserves a shout-out for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thanks! Definitely recommend, and I'll be back for summer hikes.
