Hilton Glasgow

We had a great breakfast with lots of local produce, and Lazarus and his Executive Lounge team gave excellent service. He made us feel so welcome, as did all the staff, who were warm and helpful. The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean, with a friendly, busy atmosphere. It's ideally placed for walking to and from the Hydro.

Parking is convenient if you're driving, with easy access to the M8, and most attractions east or west of the city centre are within walking distance. That's what I liked best about the location. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast had enough options for different dietary needs, and the executive lounge was a nice extra. I'd recommend booking an executive room to get access. The room was spacious and clean, with nice linen and towels, and I loved the city views. It did lack some basics, like extra amenities or kits. The design is simple, and the Christmas decorations at the time were sparse and basic. A nice hotel overall.

Lazerus was so warm and friendly at breakfast, and Pamela and Charlotte were an absolute credit to the hotel. They went above and beyond, and were especially kind to my 12 year old grandson and me. Breakfast had a huge choice, and the cooked food was delicious. We stayed two nights, 9th & 10th January 2026, for an event nearby. The whole experience was great, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant, breakfast and all the facilities. Everyone was lovely, and my grandson said he'd give it more than 10/10. It's our second stay, and the experience is why we keep coming back. Thank you, we'll be back, and I'd recommend it to friends and family.

For around £100 a night, I'd say it's very good value. I've stayed at Hilton Glasgow a couple of times for one night, and had a clean room with a city view from the 12th floor, a nice bathroom and TV. The reception and rooms were nice, as was the swimming pool. Breakfast was good and service in general was good too.
