The meal prepared by the head Chef was first class, and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. We also got to meet him during the menu tasting, which was a great addition. Carla and Alison deserve a special mention for helping us from the very beginning. They're a credit to the hotel and the group. We got married Saturday 31st January at 23 Montrose Street Glasgow, then held our evening reception at Malmaison. Our evening guests thought I'd arranged a surprise 40th birthday party for my now wife, but it was actually our wedding reception. The staff went out of their way from the early planning stages, arranging private dinning for our 30 day guests, using staff lifts so we wouldn't bump into evening guests, and keeping the day guests in a separate part of the hotel. Everyone attending will remember the experience. I'd give more stars if I could.

We chose a Club room at Malmaison after a show, when we decided to treat ourselves to a night in Glasgow. It was beautiful, and the reception service was brilliant. The bar had a great selection, and the staff there were very pleasant and helpful. I couldn't wait for breakfast, and it was great. Thank you, bravo!

I got a good rate for Monday night, so it was excellent value. The hotel was really nice, the room decent and the bed comfortable. There was some noise from somewhere, but it didn't keep me awake. I ate in the basement bar, and the food was well cooked with generous portions.

The rooms were spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the shower was great. We enjoyed the lovely food, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great value too. I'd definitely return.

The room and bathroom were a little dated, but clean and perfectly okay. The location was good, and we felt at home thanks to a warm, friendly welcome. Breakfast had a good choice, including a freshly prepared cooked option, and the breakfast staff were friendly too.
