The room’s constant fan made it hard to sleep, and the chair had greasy marks while the remote felt sweaty. The TV colours were overly saturated and its speakers a bit scratchy. Bring your own shampoo and soap, and note there’s nowhere much to put clothes or a kettle for tea and coffee. I didn’t mind those last things, but they may matter to others. There’s no little gym either, which I missed since a short workout was a nice way to start the day at Yotel. Yotel also keeps the toilet separate from the toothbrush area, unlike point a. Check-in felt like being herded. The person who helped me took me to a computer and asked how long I was staying. I said I’d already booked, and he replied, “Yes. And we’re going to use the COMPUTER to SIGN. YOU. IN.” Maybe he thought he was being professional, but it came across as really rude and unfriendly. I hope they do something about that guy. If you’re trying to save money, you might as well choose a hostel. For a basic hotel, I’d go with Yotel or somewhere else instead, and spend a little extra for a cleaner place with more to offer.

A handy central spot for going out at night. The hotel felt modern and very clean, with a nice restaurant area and enough space. The desk staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and breakfast had a good range of cereals, juices, fruit, yoghurt, bread, and pastries.

I stayed for a week with my family, from 3 January to 8 January 2026, in room 104. Everything was on point: the room was neat, the service was wonderful, and the staff were excellent. Fraiser was so kind and helpful, always smiling. Louise and Rossi were great too. Thanks to all of you for the hospitality, and to management for the good service. I really felt I got my money’s worth, like at a five-star hotel. I’ll definitely stay here again next time.

It’s close to restaurants, pubs, and shops, and about an eight-minute walk to the bus station. The front desk staff we met were friendly, and we appreciated being allowed into our room early. I was also able to get hot water at reception to make tea in the room. Breakfast had gluten-free options, which was appreciated. We stayed two nights in October. The room was fine for that length of stay and had the basics, but the rubbish bins were tiny and full both nights. My husband ended up asking the ladies cleaning other rooms to take ours. We hadn’t expected the room to be cleaned, but the rubbish could at least have been emptied each day. We also didn’t get a hand towel, and another bedside table would be useful for clothes that don’t need hanging up.

The bed was really comfortable and I slept well. My room was spotless and had what I needed, and the staff were a credit to the hotel, especially at arrival and checkout, when they were so helpful. I got lovely tea and coffee at reception, though I did miss having a kettle and tea in the room. This was my first stay, and I’d definitely come back. Had a very pleasant time, thank you to the staff xx
