We chose this room for a concert at the OVO Hydro, and the location was excellent for that. The room was about what I expected and fairly clean, though worn, with creaky, sloping floors that have a bit of charm. The bathroom was small but seemed to have been modernized fairly recently. You can hear people in the hallway or outside easily. We weren't bothered much, apart from some car noise from the street.

The building has an old charm, and the staff were kind and really helpful. There are lots of places to eat and grocery stores nearby, with bus stops right outside. Three subway stations are a 16-20 minute walk away. Kelvinhall is the best option, just down the road, and lets you avoid the park at night. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but I'd stay again anyway. ☺️

The room we booked was bigger than expected, and the receptionist was kind. The building itself is on the older side for the price, and there is no elevator. The bus terminal is about a 30-40 minute walk away, and there isn't much food close by, with restaurants about ten minutes on foot. It felt too expensive for what we got.

The rooms look a bit past their best, and the beds aren't soft. That suited my bad back, though. The staff were very nice, and I had no problems at all. For the price, it's a good place to stay.

The room was good and compact, and the front desk staff were kind and knowledgeable. It stayed warm overnight because the heaters were on 24/7. Breakfast cost an extra £10, and I didn't think it was worth it.
