The Orchard Park Hotel

For four days, this place fed me, put me up and did my laundry, so I didn't need to go anywhere else. My job in the area was meant to be shorter, but ended up lasting four days, and the hotel kindly fitted me in for the third night. After long, hard days of work, that suited me perfectly. The included breakfast had plenty to choose from, from cereal to a Scottish fry-up and a natural yoghurt fruit bowl. I had all my dinners there too, and the food was damn good. I took a star off for the room because, come on, there was only one power socket and it was under the desk. Another star off for the busy road outside, which gets pretty noisy in the morning.

Our room was compact, but very comfortable, with a super-comfy bed and a good ensuite. Breakfast was great too. The staff were excellent, so friendly and nothing was a bother to them. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good hotel on Glasgow's South Side.

Fraser was the best waiter we've had in recent times. The food was brilliant, but his service really made it for us.

The hotel has a special place in my family's hearts, and it didn't disappoint when I came up from Yorkshire for a family funeral. It's a fantastic venue in a beautiful spot, and both the hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean. The food was delicious, and breakfast had great options for all tastes. It's included in the room price, which is great. There's a lively pub attached but no noise that affected guests, plus good amenities nearby and easy access to Glasgow centre. All the staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We'll definitely return, and I'd recommend it for business or pleasure. Thank you, Team Orchard Park 😁
