Wednesday steak night was a lucky find. My wife and I were in Yorkshire for a holiday and stayed one night. We had a very good-value steak dinner, cooked just right, with a couple of pints and pudding to finish. The place seemed popular with locals, which is always a good sign. Our room was a decent size and had a modern bathroom, TV and tea and coffee facilities. Nothing fancy, but very pleasant.

The staff are so on the ball and lovely to deal with, and the food was amazing again. We’ve eaten here before, and we’ll definitely be back. Nothing seems too much trouble for them 😀

We spent hours sitting in the beer garden, listening to the music, and really enjoyed it. It’s a family-run hotel and pub with friendly staff, tasty food and a beautiful room. Prices were reasonable too. I especially loved the light-up Hollywood mirror, just like the one I have at home. We’ll definitely return, thank you!

The staff really stood out, so friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights and had breakfast, which was excellent with lots of choice. Dinner was very nice too, and the portions were generous. It was a really pleasant stay, and I’d stay again if I’m in the area.
