Once we got into our room at Laindons, we didn’t want to leave. It was spotless, beautifully decorated and full of thoughtful little touches. We’ve never stayed anywhere more perfect. After a dreamy night’s sleep, we had the most delicious breakfast. A lovely staff member welcomed us as soon as we arrived. Bravo Karen, Malcolm and their team for such an unforgettable stay.

The breakfast was superb, and our room was beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. Karen was a wonderful host and had thought of every detail. Our two nights at The Laindons were just perfect. We’ll be back!

Breakfast was a real highlight, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with everything we needed to start the day. The food has awards, and you can see why. Vegan and vegetarian options are available if you want them. Malcolm and Karen run this lovely boutique guest house in a restored Georgian building. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully arranged, and they’ve included useful little extras like a dental set with toothbrushes, a sewing kit and mouthwash. It isn’t a cheap B&B, but you do get what you pay for. It’s at the upper end, and you know as soon as you arrive that you made the right choice.

We had a fantastic time at The Laindons. The decor and style were lovely, and everything was spotlessly clean. We got a warm welcome, and breakfast was delicious, generous and really good quality. I’d definitely recommend it.

Every stay at The Laindons is a pleasure, thanks to the thoughtful details and wonderful service from Karen and her Team. The breakfast is always fresh, made with high quality produce, and exceptional. They put some of the top London hotels to shame.
