The bar had real ale, too, which was a nice touch. I came for an evening at the Hayling Folk and Acoustic music club, not to stay overnight, so I can't comment on the hotel itself. As a venue, it was lovely, with warm, welcoming staff. It's only about a half mile from Hayling beach, though the nearby road is relatively busy. I'd gladly visit again.

The team at Newtown Hotel made our Christmas dinner really special. We appreciated how thoughtfully they catered for our gluten-free and dairy-free needs, and how they looked after our dog while we were away on holiday. Thanks so much to everyone for taking such good care of us. 🎄💛

I've stayed here several times and have always felt welcome. The breakfasts are excellent, with as much as you like, and lunch and evening meals aren't rushed. There's a large FREE car park, plus disabled access and toilets. It's also a great place for weddings, birthdays, or funerals, with everything arranged for you.

I photographed a wedding at Newtown House Hotel, and the team were warm and welcoming from beginning to end. They were friendly, helpful, and clearly cared about making the day run smoothly and giving the couple a brilliant experience. It's a lovely local venue for a relaxed wedding, with everything needed in one place. The day flowed beautifully, and there were lots of lovely little moments to photograph. Couples planning their wedding here will be in good hands.

This was my third visit to the hotel. Breakfast is good quality with plenty of choice, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms and facilities are excellent. Can't fault the place.
