Mandeley Guest House

Murphy, Birgitt's dog, was such a lovely part of our stay. My daughter and I stayed at Mandeley Guest House in August 2022, and enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked to come back this year. Birgitt and Paul made us feel incredibly welcome. They were helpful, knew the area well, and went out of their way to make our visit special. Our room was lovely and comfortable, and the whole house was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was a real treat each morning, with a great cooked meal alongside fresh pastries, fruit and cereals. It was served in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We’d happily recommend Birgitt and Paul at Mandeley Guest House in Helson, Cornwall.

We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing a place in Helston. The guest house is beautiful, with newly decorated, very comfortable rooms. Breakfast came with an excellent choice and was served in a lovely dining room.

We had a fabulous week here. The rooms were spotless and stayed cool, and the central spot made it easy to visit landmarks. Having a separate entrance meant we could come and go whenever we liked. Birgitt and Paul were fantastic hosts, always happy to help. And those poached eggs were perfect 😊

The breakfasts were delicious, from the great coffee and tasty full English to the fruit, yogurts, pastries and cereal. We couldn’t have asked for more, especially at such good value for the price. The hosts have thought of so many little things, including a beach towel, bath robe, bottle opener, automatic night light and hair dryer. There’s also free tea, coffee, water and cookies in the room. The rooms are new and spotless, and the bedding and towels are superb quality. A lovely place to stay, and I’d highly recommend it.
