The pub had a lovely lively feel, and everyone welcomed us warmly. We stopped in today for Sunday roast, which was delicious and reasonably priced. Would happily recommend it.

The roast was delicious and really good value, and there was a real fire going in the lovely pub. The staff made us feel very welcome and deserve credit for the place. We were surprised it wasn't busier for such a charming spot. Gold star.

After going here for over 20 years, this was the best meal I've had at the pub. The sea bass fillet with ratatouille and new potatoes was cooked superbly, spot on. I only popped in for a pint and meal that evening, and the friendly hosts and atmosphere were great. Good to see the pub back on a firm footing.

There were seven of us, and they took great care of our large group. They were especially accommodating with breakfast for our mostly vegan group, and it was delicious. We had a wonderful time at this excellent inn and will definitely stay again.

The pub feels spotlessly clean, and Debbie and Jason give a warm welcome, excellent service, and fabulous food now that they're running The Top House. The chef was really helpful and made me a delicious vegan pasta dish. Totally recommend, and I can't wait to return!
