We were only here for one night after a party about a 10-minute walk away. Check-in was quick and friendly. Paying a bit extra for a Premier Plus room was worth it: we had a lovely top-floor room overlooking the river, quality tea and chocolates, good toiletries and fast, free Wi-Fi. The bed was huge and comfortable, and it was quiet and dark, so we slept really well. We didn't eat there or use the car park, but they offer a reduced rate for parking in the multi-storey just over the walkway.

The room was clean and comfortable for our one-night stay. Ana was kind and helpful, and when we had an issue with the TV she sorted it quickly and checked that everything was fine. Great service. I'd happily recommend the hotel for either a short or longer stay.

Anamaria was the only one who seemed to care about our stay, so the five stars are for her. The rest of the staff couldn't find our booking, charged us twice by mistake, then couldn't return the money to the same credit card. They didn't care about our son either. The rooms are smaller than advertised and the bath is tiny. For three people, pack light.

The hotel had everything I needed for a comfortable, relaxing visit. Anamaria at reception deserves a special mention. She was warm and so helpful, made check-in seamless, and shared some useful local tips. Her friendly manner really stood out and made the stay even better. Highly recommended!

I've stayed at Premier Inn quite a lot, but several of my recent stays elsewhere have been disappointing. I've had heaters that didn't work, showers that weren't quite hot enough, low tap pressure, and spray taps that made it hard to rinse off soap. There was no shower gel, or the dispenser was broken. Sometimes towels were short and reception was a long walk away. Key entry kept resetting, so I had to get the key programmed again, with another long walk to reception. Once, breakfast wasn't available because the diner was being refurbished. My partner said she was done with Premier Inn, but this place was so pleasant that it's restored my faith, and she's happy to come back too. They need to bring the other Premier Inns up to this standard, or you might as well stay at Travel Lodge.
