Harewood End Inn

The food was cooked just right, and both the atmosphere and service were great. We had a really lovely meal and got a big Welsh welcome. It gets busy, so booking ahead is a good idea.

The food was delicious 😋 and the staff were friendly, with great service. Such a lovely pub, and very dog-friendly. Just book ahead. Definitely recommend it, and we’ll be back.

The room was clean and had what we needed, considering the age of the building, though the decor could use an update. We had an issue with the bathroom light, and Dan (?) did all he could to sort it out during our stay. He succeeded, but the bulb was still so dim you couldn't really see much by it. The carpet on the stairs to the rooms could do with replacing too, as it doesn’t reflect the quality of the rest of the establishment and leaves a poor impression. We had a lovely couple of nights at the Harewood. The evening meal and both breakfasts were all great. It was especially helpful that they could provide gluten-free meals for my wife, who is a coeliac, without compromising on quality. Despite those few issues, we had a lovely stay. Try the Harewood Inn instead of the usual Holiday Inns or Travel Lodges.

The food was tasty, though it could have been a bit warmer. It was very busy, so that was probably why. We popped in for Sunday lunch.
