I've stayed here many times to visit family and have always enjoyed it. The location is perfect, and it's consistently been brilliant: clean, comfortable, and anything I've needed has been dealt with effectively. My first evening meal at Premier Inn was really pleasant and good value for money. Ruby Frazier was serving meals and covering reception during a very busy spell. She was polite, efficient, friendly, and patient with guests in all sorts of ways. Mitchell, the chef, was working frantically to prepare, cook and serve everything. They both did a superb job and deserve praise. Dealing with the public can be challenging, and they handled it brilliantly. I'm very happy to recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was brilliant, and kids eat free too. We were surprised how good this place was for the price. The large double bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning had been updated. It worked really well, quietly and without a draft. You can open the window for fresh air, and the blackout curtains and soundproofing were good. They'd thought of all the comfortable little details.

There's free parking, and this site was much better value than the other local Premier Inns. It had been refurbished recently, and we could still smell the new carpet when we visited. Our room had a walk-in shower. The pub and restaurant next door hadn't reopened yet as of February 2026, so the onsite 'social' space was the food option. There's a Miller and Carter nearby, though Herne Bay has a lot more choice just over a mile away. Breakfast is cooked to order, and there's a Sainsbury's supermarket a short walk or drive away.

The staff were really helpful and friendly, and our room, a plus room, was lovely as always. The view was Toolstation, though, and the location wasn't great for us. I'd have preferred to be closer to the seafront. If I come back, I'd definitely book somewhere nearer the sea.
