The breakfast had a good range of cereals, and my hot meal was cooked to order with no meat, just as I wanted. The room felt full of character compared with the bland beige rooms you get in most chain hotels. I also arrived starving and they kindly made me a delicious cheese and pickle sandwich in a hurry. The ensuite had a toilet and basin, with good towels. The bath and shower were separate, easy to get to, and the shower was lovely to use. The area was quiet, too. Communication was good, though I did need to call for the final directions. Once you're driving, Google isn't enough: after passing Stanley Way, it's the third property on the left.

Brenda and her husband made me feel right at home. The room had everything I needed, including an ensuite, and it was spotless. The bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Definitely try the homemade jams. A lovely stay.

Brenda was a perfect host, and breakfast was delicious. There really wasn't anything amiss during my stay. I don't go looking for faults when I travel, and if something does come up, I try to be diplomatic. Thanks for the hospitality.

The breakfast was excellent, and the host was friendly and polite. Everything was clean, tidy, and well maintained. I'd definitely recommend staying here, and I'd come back myself.
