The pool and its surroundings made us feel as if we were in Tuscany or the south of France, and the whole place is beautiful. We wanted a sunny one-night escape from London with a pool, and this B&B was just the find. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with thoughtful extras like complimentary sherry, a Nespresso machine and sweets. The bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was fantastic, and breakfast was delicious, especially the best baked beans we've ever had. The family who run it are lovely, as are their two dogs. Thanks so much, Jane and Kevin, we loved our stay! :)

We were part of a wedding group of six, and staying at Magpies was a wonderful way to finish the celebration. After a great night's sleep, we had a delicious breakfast with plenty of cooked options, and friendly Springer Spaniels made us feel at home. Our room was spacious and quaint, with carefully thought-out tea and coffee facilities and bathroom essentials. The property is beautiful inside and out, and I can't recommend it enough. Thanks for making our stay so lovely!

The owners were wonderful, and I felt at home straight away. Magpies Bed and Breakfast is such a calm, peaceful place, with a lovely garden and beautiful rooms in a beautiful building. I'd definitely come back, 100%. If you need rest and recuperation, this is the place.

The courtyard at Pear Tree lodge looks out over fields, and we spent ages there drinking wine and playing cards during our two-night stay. The room was beautiful, and the shared pool was really relaxing too. We enjoyed chatting with some of the owner's family, and Jane's two gorgeous, perfectly behaved spaniels were part of why we chose this place. Breakfast was delicious. Thanks for a lovely stay, and please save the bacon ends for my two furry friends next time!

Jane and Kevin were friendly and helpful, and the grounds are beautiful. We had a very relaxing stay, with lovely Fidget happy to see us. If you're looking to get away and unwind, come here. Thanks for a lovely stay.
