The staff were great, the bed was decent, and the shower worked. For £50 a night, it’s hard to complain, especially since I’ve paid a lot more for similar rooms elsewhere in the country. The pub room was small but clean enough. The one drawback was that there were no curtains to keep the sun out at night.

The beds were extremely comfortable, and the staff were fantastic. The bar was lovely too. The rooms could use a bit of TLC, especially the paintwork and bathroom floors, but otherwise I’d definitely stay again. We didn’t eat here, so I can’t comment on the food.

We got the last room available for Saturday night at the Wash & Tope, a double at the back of the building. It was small, as I expected, but the bed was comfortable, tea and coffee were provided, and the en suite was very nice. It was well worth £50. A band played in the evening and was quite loud, but that was to be expected.

The rooms are a little small, but perfectly clean and adequate. Barbara staff were friendly and efficient. The location is absolutely perfect, and some rooms have fantastic views over the beach. We’ll definitely be back.

The staff were great, and the location is fantastic. We first popped in after arriving in Hunstanton for a quick bite and a beer, then came back a couple more times over the weekend. We were pleased with the Wash and Tope. The beer garden isn’t much, but it’s somewhere to sit when the weather’s nice.
