We booked The Collingdale in Ilfracombe for a night at the last minute, and it turned out to be much better than expected. The house is lovely and welcoming, and everything felt comfortable and carefully considered. Our room’s sea view and balcony made it extra special. Breakfast was a highlight, absolutely delicious, and Sharon was so helpful and hospitable. We also enjoyed the lounge and its wide range of games. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it to visitors.

The full Devon breakfast was a 10 out of 10, and the kippers were an 11! Sue was attentive in the dining room too. Sharon and Daryl run a fabulous guesthouse, and we had a brilliant two-night stay at the Collingdale. It’s immaculately kept, with a warm welcome, superb breakfasts, and great hospitality. We had a really enjoyable five-night stay. Sharon and Daryl made us feel very welcome, and room 1 was spacious. It faces the road, but there was very little noise. The bed was large and comfortable, and the hospitality tray had a great selection. Breakfast was delicious, and the waitress was friendly and efficient. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Everything was within walking distance, and we hope to come back in the summer. Sharon and Daryl were fantastic hosts at this amazing guest house. We arrived late to check in, but Sharon stayed awake to welcome us. Breakfast was amazing, with a stunning view from the room. Highly recommend! Love from Raj and som x

The rooms are spacious, lovely, and the beds are really comfortable. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday, and Mom and I have both really enjoyed it. Sharon and Daryl have been so kind and helpful, always happy to go the extra mile. The location is perfect, breakfast is amazing, and you can park outside or use the private parking a 20-second walk away, which is a really good idea. Can't fault the place and we'd definitely recommend it.
