Holiday Inn Express Perth

The staff were so friendly and helpful, with the best customer service I've had in a long time. The rooms were clean and breakfast was delicious. I was really happy with the hotel. It was my first time staying at a Holiday Inn, and I was impressed.

The breakfast buffet had something for everyone, and the pub next door was well worth visiting for dinner. We were just there for one night as a stop on the way to Inverness. The room was comfortable, with a big bed, and the bathroom was clean with lovely hot water. The reception staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful.

The staff were friendly and the hotel was very comfortable. It is a bit far from the centre if you're walking. I was surprised by how many dogs were staying overnight, and hope they have designated dog-friendly rooms. My only complaint was that the till system wouldn't let my friend and me split the food bill equally, and cash wasn't accepted either.

The staff were attentive and were definitely one of the best things about this Holiday Inn. The restaurant next door is handy, and the food was okay. The room was clean but basic, and the pillows were awful. There were no spare or extra pillows, which was disappointing. There was also black mould around the edges of the shower screen, which needs replacing. The breakfast had a good selection, but the plates, bowls and glasses all felt dirty, as if they hadn't been washed properly, and that put me off. I was disappointed that there were no sanitary products in the women's toilet. It's a basic, cheap place for a night with kids, and handy for the Enchanted Forest at Pitlochry, about a half-hour drive away.
