Pitfaranne Guest House

Maggie made us a delicious breakfast to suit us each morning, and our little room had tea and coffee as well as a closet for our bags. We slept so well in that incredibly comfortable bed, then woke to an amazing sunrise through the window. The room was small and very cute. The owners were warm and helpful, met us when we arrived, and accommodated our later than usual check in because of our flights. A wonderful spot for our first two nights in Inverness. We loved staying here.

Maggie & Malcolm were thoughtful and attentive hosts. They even arranged an early taxi to the airport and lent me a portable heater for my room. Breakfast was fresh each morning, and the bed was really comfortable. The room was clean, and despite the place being full, I never heard other guests making noise. You can walk to pretty much anywhere in the city from here. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Inverness.

Maggie & Malcolm were the best part of our stay, genuinely hospitable while still giving us privacy. They thought of everything we needed for comfort, and even helped when we ran into a health issue. We can't thank them enough, and hope to return for a longer visit. The apartment is right in the centre of inverness. Downstairs, there's a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room and a modern wc/shower. The shower had great pressure, with plenty of space under the sink for our things. They supplied good quality shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Although it's self-catering, they also left some breakfast, tea, coffee and milk, plus paper towels, towels, washing-up liquid with a new sponge, and washing powder for the machine. Upstairs is a room with a double bed and a single bed. There was plenty of space to unpack two large suitcases, with wardrobes and drawers. Each bedside had a table and a lamp, handy for charging our phones. Don't hesitate to book, you won't regret it.

The guest house is conveniently close to the centre, and Maggie and Malcolm suggested places to visit and spots to eat and drink nearby. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We had a fantastic time at Pitfaranne on our Inverness trip and will be back again.
