The rooms are a bit dated, but clean, warm and spacious. A group of us women stayed for a couple of nights over Halloween, and the hotel looked fantastic, a real Halloween experience. It's cosy and friendly, only two minutes from Keswick centre. The customer service was outstanding. Jean served us the best breakfast we've ever had, and we've stayed in hundreds of hotels. Felix and his partner took care of us in the bar and were such good fun.

Breakfast had an excellent selection and the service was great. The breakfast staff were friendly and attentive, and everyone was welcoming and helpful. My room was a little dated but clean and warm, and the bathroom and shower were spotless. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes' walk from town. I'd recommend staying here and will return.

The bed was comfortable, the window had a nice view, and there wasn't much noise from outside. The room was clean, though a bit warm with the heating on, but it was easy enough to switch off. I could hear people talking in the next room, so the soundproofing isn't great. The shower took a while to warm up. Breakfast was lovely, with scrambled, poached or fried eggs to choose from.

A hot, comfy room in a great location, and breakfast was great too. Really enjoyed the stay. I'd come back, probably in summer.

The staff were lovely and friendly, and gave us ideas for places to visit. The hotel is close to Keswick centre, with a small bar and a good choice of drinks. Our large room had plenty of storage and was cleaned daily, though it felt a bit dated. I found the bed very hard and uncomfortable, while my partner was fine with it. The cooked breakfast was very good, with a small selection of cereal, fruit and yoghurt as well.
