The food menu was good, and the portions had that generous Yorkshire feel. The staff were helpful and great, too. It worked really well as a place to stay before an early flight, and we’ll definitely come back for another one. Highly recommended.

We spent the week here for a company training event with our team. The staff were friendly, the restaurant food was good with a nice selection, and the prices were good. It’s in a great spot for the airport, though otherwise it really is in the middle of nowhere. Sleep was the problem for most of us. Eight of the twelve people in our team complained about the beds and pillows. The pillows were absolutely awful, and the beds had no give or cushioning, just rock solid. After five days, it hadn’t been a pleasant stay for sleeping. I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could, since I expected better comfort from a Hilton. Four stars.

Agnes has a heart of gold and incredible humour. She’s the queen of the restaurant and felt like the motherly figure I needed while staying so far from home. If you meet her, call her by her name. I hope she gets everything she wants in life, that’s how much she affected me. Thank you for looking after me. I’m so honoured we met. The hotel is remote, but the staff feel homely. I stayed for five days this week, and Finn greeted me with a friendly face and talked me through the benefits included on my work trip. That helped massively because I’d felt quite in the dark about it all. My room was comfortable, with hot water and heating, and the gym has everything you need. The food was delicious, especially the perfect chips, crunchy like McDonald’s ones but bigger. I know it’s a 3 star hotel, but I think that’s unfair. Even if I have to travel four hours back up there, I’d definitely stay again.
