Connor and Catherine make a real difference here. They’re friendly, easy to talk to and clearly know their stuff. Both go out of their way to help members feel comfortable and supported, and it’s clear they take pride in what they do. The Village Hotel Gym is always clean, modern and well looked after, with a welcoming feel every time I visit. Whether you’re new to training or have plenty of experience, it’s a great place to work out. Highly recommend!

Matas deserves a special mention for the care he gives guests. He’s attentive, courteous and knowledgeable, and his calm, professional manner helps everyone feel looked after. He’s a big part of why I’d happily recommend this pub and come back. The place is comfortable and welcoming, and the interior is well maintained. There’s an impressive range of drinks and food, and it’s all presented thoughtfully. A great experience, with service and quality that set a high standard.

The food was lovely, and all our guests enjoyed it. We’ll be back for our next event. A big thank you to the chef, Vi and the team. We celebrated our son’s 21st birthday here, and the staff were so kind and went above and beyond. At one point someone tried to crash the party, but the team explained they hadn’t seen those guests before and didn’t think they were part of our celebration. They were right. That attention to detail was commendable, and everything went well.

Parking was the one snag. The gym’s popularity made the car park so busy that it took me about 20 minutes to find a space. Aside from that, I had a really positive one-night business stay at Village Hotel Leeds South, at a reasonable price, and I’d stay again if I’m in the area. Check-in was quick and easy, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, spacious and comfortable the room was. The gym was busy in January but well equipped, so still good for a solid workout. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice including fish and poached eggs made to order. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.
