Our guests kept mentioning how warm and friendly Ed and Helen and the staff were, and the atmosphere felt so homely. We're incredibly grateful to Ed and Helen (owners) for making our three-day wedding at Burton Court in September this year feel so personal and special. They went above and beyond, including stocking the bar with our favourite beer and plenty of fancy rums! We loved being able to choose our own local vendors and shape the day exactly as we'd dreamed. While planning, Ed and Helen were welcoming and enthusiastic about our ideas, and offered helpful suggestions and contacts. Burton Court is a wonderfully flexible, unique venue, full of history and character. The grounds, house, Great Hall, bar, bedrooms and views were all breathtaking. Thank you so much. We can't wait to visit again ❤️

Edward kindly showed us around the house and told us about its history. The hosts were so friendly, and we enjoyed our time at Burton Court. Breakfast was excellent and high quality. They also gave us great advice to visit Gigrin farm for the red kite feeding. We went, and it turned out to be brilliant advice!

We got married at Burton Court in October this year, after staying there as guests two years earlier. We loved Ed and Helen then, so when it came to choosing a wedding venue, nowhere else came to mind. The venue is beautiful and well cared for, and Ed and Helen did so much for us in the lead-up and on the day itself. Ed shared his knowledge of local businesses and suggested people for food, flowers and entertainment. He was always happy to help. The rooms and breakfasts were wonderful, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The setting and their hospitality made our wedding the special day it was. Thank you for everything.

The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was wonderful, and the welcome made the place feel like home. Breakfast was cooked with produce sourced from local farmers. There's a very special family here who really know how to host. What a fantastic place to stay. We'll be back and are already looking forward to it. Don't miss this hidden gem!
