The location is quiet but close to the centre, and the rooms are mostly decent. But there are things that need attention. Some rooms and bathrooms are better than others, and bits of the decor look like a first attempt at DIY. The beds, stairs and floors creak badly. Whoever runs the B&B should spend a night in each room and note the little annoyances caused by assuming things work without checking. Some hangers and shelves are poorly placed, or missing. Connectivity is a big problem. The building seems to act like a Faraday cage, with no cellular reception and Wi-Fi that's extremely slow and keeps dropping. One router for the whole building? Most hostels do much better. If you need reliable internet for work or even simple bookings, you'd be better off going out to a cafe in town.

I had a great stay. Breakfast was grand, the bed was super comfy, and the shower pressure was amazing. I was also very glad the bus stops were close by. Lovely hospitality and friendly faces :)

Breakfast was a highlight, with hot, freshly made food, cereal, fruit, juice, tea and coffee in a bright, airy room. The owners and staff were friendly and happy to offer help, and there were lots of free guides and brochures in the foyer. My room was clean, airy and comfortable, with the shared facilities right nearby. It’s a short walk into Lerwick, the ferry terminal is about 10-15 minutes away on foot, and the airport bus stops are less than 100 metres away. A handy, cheaper option if you’re watching your budget. I really enjoyed my stay.

A quiet little haven with a comfortable bed and a very clean room. I got used to sharing the shower and toilet. The location made it easy to reach town or take the roads in any direction. Recommended.

A really reasonable place to use as a base in Lerwick. We had a spacious room, a lovely breakfast and one of the most unbelievably comfortable beds.
