The breakfast was amazing, and we had a good-sized room with friendly staff. Askrigg is well located, though finding roadside parking can be tricky at busy times. Noise carries easily between rooms, but I suppose that's to be expected for this area and type of building.

We brought the dogs, and the dog-friendly room was huge. The room and shower room were immaculate, the towels smelled lovely, and the bed, linen and pillows were all good. It was quiet, breakfast was great, and the owners were friendly and efficient. A cracking little B&B, highly recommended.

We wished we'd stayed longer instead of moving on to Simonstone Hall. Lesson learned, and we'll surely come back. The couple running this little gem were so nice and attentive, and the food arrived hot, tasty and with a smile. They also generously shared information about local highlights, including pubs and places to eat. A fabulous two-night stay.

The breakfasts were amazing, and the owners were friendly and attentive. We stayed a couple of nights with the family and Hector the dog. It's a nice guest house in a central spot in Askrigg.

What a lovely village. The welcome was warm, my room was excellent, and Room 3 was just right. Mike and Alison were perfect hosts.
