East Beach Guest House

The lounge was a welcome place to relax on the one day the weather turned bad. From the guesthouse, it’s an easy walk to bars, pubs, restaurants and the sea, and there’s masses of parking opposite. We visited in cold, wet February and were glad to step into such a warm and comfortable, immaculate house. The continental breakfasts were lovely, and there were thoughtful extras, including chocolates for the birthday boy and a delicious bottle of wine.

I slept really well. The bed was comfortable, and once the bedroom door was shut, I couldn’t hear a peep from other guests. The room had lovely decor and funky furniture, while the small bathroom was cleverly laid out, with space for toiletries. Everything was exceptionally clean, including the hallway and lounge. Richard was warm and bubbly, and made me feel welcome straight away. He’d even arranged my parking before I arrived. The guest house is easy to find, with ample parking across the road, and you ring the host for access. Breakfast was ready at the agreed time, and the spacious lounge felt cosy, with a great view even on a cloudy day.

This was our second stay, after first coming in March 2022, and I made sure to book the same guest house for a night away for my partner’s birthday. They left him birthday chocolates and decorated our breakfast tray with confetti, such a thoughtful touch. The hosts are lovely, and the room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom had everything you’d need.

Friendly and helpful hosts, and a really comfortable night in Littlehampton. The king-size room was cosy, clean and well appointed, with quality bedding and linen. Lots of small details had been considered, from the handwritten welcome note to the fresh-smelling towels. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!
