Hanover Hotel & McCartneys Bar

There was some night noise from the surrounding nightlife, but I’d seen that in earlier reviews and brought earplugs. With the windows shut, it wasn’t too bad. Otherwise it was a really enjoyable stay. This is a great little hotel, well run, with helpful staff who’ll go the extra mile. Our room was spotless, and breakfast was included and made to order. I’d highly recommend it.

We’re two older best female mates from Western Australia, and we’ve stayed here for the last few nights. It’s a bit quirky and old, but there’s something about the place we just loved. The staff were absolutely fabulous and so friendly, especially Shelley, our favourite young barmaid with dark hair. Breakfast, the full English, was fantastic. There’s a bar down the side with karaoke that goes on quite late. The music was fabulous, but shut your window lol. We loved seeing Beatles memorabilia everywhere, and met some really lovely people. We’d stay again.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and it was a really nice one-night stay. To the red-haired sir with glasses, I loved your colorful shirts! I didn’t hear any noise from the bar. With the windows open, the seagulls woke me up at some point, though it wasn’t too bad. I’ll come back if I visit Liverpool again.

We popped in for a quick drink while visiting Liverpool. It’s a friendly pub with a nice atmosphere.
