Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village

The breakfast selection was excellent, and there was a good range of choices in the restaurant too. During my three-night stay, all the staff were courteous and very attentive. I had a warm welcome from the front-of-house team, which set a positive tone right away, and my room was excellent. I can't fault the experience. I'll definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Liverpool.

The location was peaceful at night and more convenient than the other Novotel Liverpool City Center one. It's still an easy 15-minute walk into the city center, with a nice chance to pass the university and cathedrals. I stayed on a higher floor and the panoramic views over the city, the Liverpool university and the cathedrals were breathtaking. The hotel is modern, sleek and exceptionally clean. My spacious room had a super comfortable bed and high-end Rituals toiletries. They also provide mineral water cans. The Novotel Leicester didn't offer them during my stay last week. Absolutely loved my stay and highly recommend it.

We spent one night here for a University interview. The staff knew why we were visiting and kindly pointed us in the direction of the University. They're helpful and kind, and the rooms and hotel were both spacious and very clean. Breakfast had lots of delicious choices. It's an absolutely beautiful place, more than a home from home. Slippers and body lotion would be nice additions, but otherwise five stars all the way.

I was travelling alone for the first time to study a short course at the uni, and Marina at reception made me feel at ease. She was lovely, kind and polite, and sorted my room out. I can't thank her enough. The location is ideal, and parking was a two minute walk away. I got the parking reduced at the hotel lobby before leaving, which was a great plus. I'd definitely come back. Thank you Novotel, your staff are wonderful and your hotels beautiful. My room was spacious and lovely, with a kettle, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and fridge. The pillows were my only niggle. I prefer rectangular ones, and these were square and puffed up around my head when I lay down. I was tired enough to sleep anyway. Breakfast was lovely, with both continental and cooked choices. I tried both over the three days and everything was good, cleanly presented and tasty. No complaints. On my first night I was too tired to go out, so I ordered room service. The fish and chips were delicious, with a nice big piece of fresh fish, chunky chips and lovely sauces.
