We spent two nights here and would happily return. The spa was relaxing, and both the pool and facilities were excellent. Staff were attentive throughout, and check-in began with a warm welcome. Our room looked stunning, the bed was comfortable, and the modern bathroom was immaculately clean. The hotel is beautiful and certainly lives up to its five-star rating. We highly recommend it.

The Municipal made our birthday celebration with our UK Cousins really special. We enjoyed dinner, afternoon tea, breakfast and a room at this stunning hotel. The rooms were spacious and lovely, but it was the staff across the hotel who stood out most: friendly and professional throughout. A big thank you to Annabel and Abi in the Botanic Tea Room, Evie for looking after our large dinner party, and everyone at reception, including Alex and Ben. I’d highly recommend the Municipal for a meal, afternoon tea, breakfast or a stay.

We had a wonderful day, and the spa facilities were really enjoyable. The staff were warm, welcoming and accommodating. The afternoon tea was the best we’ve had, especially the warm platter starter and the fluffy, light scones. The one snag was getting a drink at the spa. There weren’t any staff around to take an order, and when we did order, the drinks took about 30 minutes. We then asked for sugar for the coffees, but after another 15 minutes and going off to look for someone, I think they’d forgotten. It wasn’t the end of the world. A QR code for ordering to the table might help, and it could be easier to bring the sugar with the coffee.

We spent our honeymoon at the Liverpool Municipal Hotel, and the team made it especially memorable by taking such good care of us. Adam from concierge was exceptional, making sure things felt seamless and comfortable. Jamie brought so much warmth and energy to every chat, and his tips about Liverpool and Liverpool FC were fantastic. We always looked forward to talking with him. Emma at the spa was kind, attentive and welcoming, and her thoughtful advice helped us relax. At reception, Alex and Naomi greeted us warmly and professionally. From the first welcome to the care throughout our visit, the service exceeded our expectations and made our honeymoon more meaningful. We had an amazing stay and will most definitely return.
