Hen-Dy

We've been staying at the he dy llandudno for over 30 years, and every visit has met a very high standard. The owners have been fabulous over the years, and Ian and Tracey are no exception. It's a great location, with the sea and pier just across the road. Breakfast downstairs is cooked beautifully, with buffet extras like cereals, grains, and fruit, and the place is clean too. There's now a ground-floor room for anyone who can't manage the stairs. We think you'll want to come back again if you stay at the Hen Dy. That's our personal view, of course, but you'll have to visit to find out for yourself.

It's right across from the pier, and the price was competitive. The family-run place was very friendly, and breakfast was spot on. Our room was clean and modern, with fitted furniture and headboard, and a lovely fresh colour scheme. There's no actual bar, but you can buy drinks from a selection in the fridge. We stayed only a couple of nights and would gladly return for longer. A great little find, highly recommended.

Ian and Tracey made us feel welcome and valued, and we've already booked to come back. Our spacious room had a lovely sea view, was well appointed and comfortable, and was serviced daily to a spotless standard. The bathroom was well maintained, with a very nice shower. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, with plenty of options for different dietary requirements, and the honesty bar had a great selection of drinks. Out front there's a small detached garden, comfortable, colourful, and tidy. Our hosts were pleasant and helpful and kept standards high throughout. We can't praise the place enough.

My only regret is booking just two nights. We got the newly remodelled space, with a bedroom that had no windows, which made sleeping much easier when it stays dark for only about five hours a night. There was also a huge living area with a sea view. Tracy and Ian met us when we arrived and carried our bags. Breakfast came quickly, everything was clean and in good repair, and the location was perfect for all the main attractions.
