The Lilly is perfectly located for you to explore Llandudno and North Wales. Situated on the West Shore, right by the sea with the Great Orme in the immediate background we're in close proximity to all the main attractions. On the Great Orme itself there is much to do. You can venture all the way to the top of the Orme with the Great Orme Tramway, which is just one way to see the spectacular views of Llandudno and beyond. The more daring of you can try the Cable Cars. On the Orme there is Llandudno's Ski & Snowboard centre, great for all the family and the Great Orme Mining Experience. Within Llandudno there are many more attractions including Venue Cymru, Little Orme and the Adventure Farm, fun for all the family and an open paddling pool with a children's play area, right by the sea, a lovely way to spend a summer's day. Just outside Llandudno are many more attractions, including Conwy Castle, an excellent family day out. Or of course there's the delight of Snowdonia's National Park, definitely worth a visit.

The sea view and location were lovely, and breakfast was cleanly served and very nice. But the entrance needed a hoover, and the room had peeling, cracked paint, dusty blinds and dirty windowsills. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, even the floor seemed softer. It was also cold, and the heater in the room didn’t work. The staff didn’t make much of an impression. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The food was a real highlight. Dinner was plentiful and delicious, and breakfast was fabulous too. We were lucky enough to have the head chef, I think his name was Wayne, for both meals, and he was a top fella who looked after us. The staff were great all round, especially Beth, who greeted us while she was cleaning and took care of us all night. The locals were friendly and made us feel welcome. Fantastic hotel and food, we’ll definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay, Dean & Deb.

We left before eating. The food coming out for people in the bar looked awful, cheap and overcooked, and nowhere near worth the prices. We cancelled our order in a hurry and went. The place was quiet on Saturday, with a few people at the bar having snacks, while the restaurant was empty and we were told to choose any table. The table we picked had crumbs and dust, which two of us wiped off ourselves. The bar girl was polite but clearly overwhelmed, juggling drinks, food orders, and a phone argument about a room booking. The teapot was chipped and the sugar bowl dirty with barely any sugar. Skirting boards, windows and toilets were filthy too, a shock after seeing the Lily’s website photos. I’d avoid it until it gets a proper clean and the food improves.

We live just down the road and can’t believe we hadn’t tried this place before. Had the roast beef Sunday lunch today, yum, yum. Great food, good value and really lovely staff.

Lovely staff made us feel welcome, and the food was incredible. We slept well and had breakfast with fabulous views. Had an amazing stay and would highly recommend.
