You can walk to all sorts of shops, from supermarkets to carpet stores. The hotel is being updated at the moment, and the rooms are nice. The wheelchair accessible rooms are spacious, with clean, comfortable showers made for wheelchair users. The receptionists are lovely and welcoming, and I can’t complain about the hotel. My wife did have a bad experience at the restaurant next door, which is part of Premier Inn. She and our six-year-old daughter arrived first for breakfast and said they were there for cooked food. They were seated in a corner and given some continental items while the server went to seat other people, then the server took cooked orders from them and never came back to my wife. She isn’t the sort to wave someone over or chase after them. They then tried to charge her for cooked breakfast, but she explained what had happened and they apologised. For some reason, they went looking for the receipt in the bin. If you need a receipt for breakfast that day, ask in advance. The hotel itself is brilliant.

Jo at reception was friendly, polite, and patient. The service at Premier Inn in Llanelli Central East was excellent, we couldn’t have asked for more. We also ate at the restaurant, where the food was tasty and good value. Corrie, our waitress, was helpful, efficient, and friendly, and gave us a lovely welcome.

The room was outdated, but the shower was great, the location was great, and it stayed very quiet all night. The staff were such fun and so helpful and accommodating. The two women looking after the hotel and restaurant made the stay enjoyable and deserve a lot of credit for the outstanding comments they’ve received. The pocket rocket in the restaurant kept us entertained at breakfast, rushing around to help us and other guests while smiling and chatting. The chef made a lovely breakfast on both occasions, and everything was fresh with a great choice. I hope the women are there when we return later this year. They’re a real credit to Premier Inn and deserve recognition.

We were in town for a family funeral, not a holiday, and didn’t stay at the Premier Inn. We did have breakfast at the restaurant connected to it, which was really nice. We weren’t asked for our car registration and didn’t see signs about parking charges, but an update: you still have to find a ticket machine and register your car when you park.

The hotel was clean, and there’s a great diner nearby. The staff were lovely too. I was struggling to find a ride to the train station early in the morning, and reception offered me a lift so I wouldn’t miss my connection.
