ibis budget London Hounslow

For our family, the hotel worked really well. We could get to Piccadilly by subway in 40 minutes, so the connection to the center felt fine. People who complain that it’s far away may not know London, where places are spread out unless you can afford to stay right in the center. There were seven of us for a week, and everyone enjoyed the stay. The rooms are small but clean, and reception was always ready to explain things or help when we had questions. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. My apologies if anything sounds unclear, as I’m using a translator. I mainly wanted to say the hotel is great and thank the team for their care, effort, and respect. Wishing them continued success!

For a tight budget, this was a perfectly usable room, and it was the cheapest acceptable option I found within easy reach of London. It’s a budget hotel in every sense, though it wouldn’t be my first choice next time. The room was clean, the check-in was smooth, the air conditioning worked, and the lighting was good. Staff were friendly and brought us an extra pillow when we asked. The toilet is in a tiny separate enclosure, which feels cramped. There’s also a Tesco Express right next door for snacks, a short walk to the tube, and a Wetherspoons nearby for a cheap breakfast. We stayed two nights in November 2025. The hotel is directly under the Heathrow flight path from around 5am, so it gets very noisy, although strangely we didn’t hear planes in the evening or at night.

The staff and receptionist were kind and friendly, and the location is handy for local shops and Hounslow Central underground station. A Tesco Lotus next door is useful for everyday groceries. Breakfast is available for £8, but it isn’t included in the room price. The main problem was the bathroom setup. The bathroom door was translucent glass and wouldn’t lock. It was easy to open, with an empty hole where the doorknob should be. The toilet is separate, and its door wouldn’t lock either.

This isn’t a luxury hotel, but it’s clean, easy to get to, and more than adequate, with very helpful staff. The price was good at just £80, and members got a discount. On my first stay I had a larger, spacious room. The second room was much smaller, with the shower and toilet in an enclosed area. It wasn’t as nice as the first, but it still did the job. The staff were very nice and helpful both times.
