2 Chesham Hotel Belgravia

We had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel, though the breakfast experience let it down. At checkout, the gentleman at reception was professional and friendly again, and the checkout itself was seamless. The hotel is conveniently located in Belgravia. Breakfast included fruit, overnight oats, and pastries, but the hot food was mediocre for an expensive Belgravia hotel. There was no cereal or porridge. The menu mostly listed different parts of a fry-up. We'd seen photos on the website of something like eggs benedict, and the in-room breakfast menu had a much wider range of hot dishes, but those weren't offered as options, even though we would have paid extra. The restaurant was nicely decorated, but service left us feeling like an inconvenience. The server asked us twice for our room number, seemed distracted, handed us a menu without explaining the setup, and only came to clear our plates once. She didn't check if we needed anything else or ask how breakfast was. Earlier, we were offered turndown service around 6pm. It was a nice touch, but we were getting ready to go out, so the timing didn't work for us. We asked if it could be later, but were told 6pm was the latest they could do it. It might work better later in the evening, when guests have returned for the night. The entrance and winding staircase were lovely, and our room was beautiful and stylish. The WiFi code wasn't in the room, and our coffee machine didn't work, but staff fixed both promptly when we mentioned them. The gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and professional, and nothing seemed too much trouble.

The rooms were beautifully maintained, the breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. The hotel's location in Belgravia is ideal, with everything you need a short walk away. The friendly staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Selcuk and Mo deserve a special mention. They were especially kind and generous, and a pleasure to deal with. Their attentiveness made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend!

After moving to London in June, I started coming to the hotel's restaurant at least twice a week. My favourite mains are the hamburger and club sandwich, and I absolutely love the French Fries, haha. You should try the food. I strongly recommend their F&B to customers. Prices are reasonable too. The two-course and three-course lunches from Monday to Thursday cost £35 and £40. I first stayed at the hotel with my mum in May, and we loved it. The rooms are cozy, elegant, and posh. Chesham hotel has become my agit in London :))
