AKA Marylebone

The balcony looked like a spider's web, as if it had been neglected and left uncleaned. The apartment itself was clearly worn out and unused, and it wasn’t as clean as it should have been.

The free access to Third Space was a great perk, and I went every day. It’s a one-minute walk from AKA and has a pool and steam room. I also loved the free newspapers by the entrance. I felt safe in the building, and having reception available around the clock was so useful. They printed documents, collected deliveries and let me in whenever I forgot my key. The team greeted me with a smile each morning and when I came back at night. I stayed for nine months and loved every minute. Karen made moving in easy, even buying groceries so I’d feel comfortable from day one. She and her team, including Mario, Minos and Junaid, were brilliant. They helped me find the nearest supermarket and dry cleaners after I’d just moved to London. The cleaning staff were amazing too. I cooked nearly every day, and they still cleaned the dishes, washed the sheets, vacuumed and mopped every day. It was always spotless. I don’t know how you managed that daily! Staying at AKA was a dream, which is why I stayed so long.

The apartments are luxurious, high quality and have everything you could need, plus more. The tube is just around the corner, and the central location makes it an ideal base in London. I’ve stayed with AKA twice, both times for special occasions, and Karen and her team went beyond what we expected to make each stay special. They’re incredible. I highly recommend it and will be back.

The location works well for all kinds of things to do in London, and the tube is only a short walk away. I’ve stayed here a couple of times, and the rooms have always been clean and comfortable. The service is exceptional and welcoming. Looking forward to another visit.
