Avoca House Hotel

I’ve been coming to this area to visit my cousin since the 1980’s and have stayed in lots of places. This hotel stands out for honest value. It’s clean, friendly and pleasant, in a central part of London, and a welcoming place to relax. Primrose Hill and the Hampstead Heath are both within walking distance, with masses of restaurants and cafes in this treasured part of London. Five stars for the price. It doesn’t pretend to be something it isn’t.

Ruhan and Ann made our stay memorable. They were warm, welcoming and ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel has a cozy, inviting feel, and it’s very conveniently located for exploring the city near central London. We had a wonderful stay and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

There was a mouse living under our bed, and the room was shabby, with stained, worn carpets. The bathroom was tiny, and the water pressure was almost nonexistent. The manager was incredibly nice and helpful, and the hotel is reasonably close to the tube, but we certainly won’t be back.

Rohan was really helpful and answered all my questions. The neighborhood is quiet, and you’re near both the tube and the bus stop. There was central heating as well as another heater in the room, which helped because it was really cold outside. The room was okay, a bit outdated and nothing fancy. I didn’t mind since I wasn’t planning to spend the whole day there. I’d come back.
