The tub’s height and size are the only things I’d flag. Check the photos to see whether the shower would suit you. It was fine for us, and we had no other room complaints, including about the view. Getting around was easy, with great transport nearby and the British Museum and West End within walking distance. We felt safe walking back after a show at night, even as women traveling together. The bus stop across the street and the one near the museum worked perfectly for reaching lots of places without a taxi or train. The service was great too. They stored our bags before and after the stay, which mattered a lot to us and eased our worries about keeping our things safe. We were grateful for an upgrade and for a room that was ready two hours before check-in, a big help after a red-eye flight. The team was also kind by email when I contacted them to confirm the reservation I’d booked through Chase. I’d definitely book here again.

The room was huge and a welcome place to return to after a day sightseeing. Siobhan (I hope I spelled it correctly) and Ken at the front desk were pleasant, welcoming, and informative. The hotel is ideally located for the British Museum and transit. I’ll recommend it to family and friends.

The one thing that bothered me was the noise. I could hear plenty from both the street and outside my room, at night as well as during the day. Otherwise, everything was really perfect. I spent three days here in February on my own, felt safe and comfortable, and thought it was good value. The staff were kind, the room was clean and cozy, and there are lots of public transport options nearby.

Saad, the duty manager, was understanding and helped sort out my reservation issue quickly. The mistake had been made by the third-party company I booked through, and he handled it with real care and good customer service. The hotel is clean and cozy, right in the heart of London, and the staff were exceptional and kind. I’m very happy with my stay so far and will come back.

The only change I’d suggest is serving fresh scones, since these were shop-bought. The sandwiches and cakes were fresh and tasty, and we enjoyed the range. We had a lovely traditional afternoon tea at The Bedford, with top-notch service. The restaurant and terrace were much better than you’d expect at a 3-star hotel. We’ll return for cocktails or dinner.
