Britannia International Hotel Canary Wharf

The buffet had a good range of food for both dinner and breakfast, and the bar prices weren't bad for London. Our room was spacious, with a great bathroom, plenty of room and air conditioning. We spent the weekend here with friends. The location was great, and the staff were really helpful and friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble. I'd definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely three-night stay, and Canary Wharf was a joy to explore. The room had a river view, was clean and peaceful, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly, and the food, including breakfast, was very good. It's a beautiful hotel and good value. The key had to be reset every evening, and the room wasn't cleaned at all. Over three days, I'd have expected at least one clean.

I use this hotel when I'm working at my office near Canary Wharf, about 5-10 minutes from the Estate. It has improved a lot over the last year, and the staff deserve credit. The rooms now seem to have good quality fans, check-in is quicker, and the food and room service are both high quality and fast. Wi-Fi is free now too, when it used to cost £7 a day. The front desk staff are consistently polite and professional, and sometimes they upgrade my room at no extra cost. Thanks for the changes. They've definitely been noticed.

The service was good and my standard double room was fine overall. One thing that bothered me was the pillow smell. Its cover seemed clean, but the pillow itself needed washing or replacing. Dust on the outside of the window also spoiled the view. Other than that, everything was okay.
