Brompton Hotel

For a shower and somewhere to sleep in a great location, this place is fine. South Kensington Tube is a minute away, with museums, cafes and restaurants close by. We got a warm welcome, and our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the towels were fresh. The hotel itself is shabby and basic. We were at the very top of the building in a family room, where it was very warm. The hallways honestly smelled of BO, though our room had an opening window and the air inside was fresh. The bedside lamp was broken. I wouldn't want to spend much more time here than necessary.

Harry took such good care of us during our family holiday, and his kindness and professionalism made the stay even more special. We were there from 29/12/25-03/01/26 with three children, which can make a London trip challenging, but everything went smoothly and we'd definitely come back. The location in the heart of South Kensington was ideal. The Tube is just steps away, very handy with kids, and the Natural History Museum and Hyde Park are a short walk away. The neighbourhood felt beautiful and safe. Our room for five wasn't especially modern and felt a bit dated, but it was comfortable and functional, with what we needed to rest after sightseeing.

We had a perfect stay. The newly renovated bathroom was really nice, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly. The location is excellent, right by the Tube, so getting around was easy. There are plenty of good places to eat nearby.

We could walk to almost everything we wanted to visit, so the location suited our London vacation perfectly. The price was good for the area, and the bathroom was perfect. The building is over 100 years old, so it has a vintage feel, though the rooms are due for renovation. The staff were very friendly, especially Afaq, who gave us advice on places to visit.
