The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal for my planned Eurostar trip, close to St Pancras. But the room I was given, number 3 on level -1 facing the outside courtyard, felt cramped and basement-like, even though I expected it to be small. The bathroom door had to stay open to stop things getting too damp from the shower, and the bed wasn’t comfortable. I could hear the underground trains from the room. After two nights, I wouldn’t return, though perhaps the other rooms are better.

We paid £75 for a twin room, booked just a couple of days ahead. The room was tiny and the bathroom felt like a large cupboard, but everything was scrupulously clean and the beds were comfortable. We were at the back, so it was surprisingly quiet for such a central spot. They also let us leave our bags early. I’d recommend it.

For a two-night business trip, this was good value and the location was great. The cleaning service was excellent. My room had some condensation and I could hear quite a bit from other rooms, probably because it’s an old building.

We were four people staying for a couple of nights, and everyone was happy with the service. The staff were friendly, funny, and helpful throughout, and the rooms were tidy and clean, with daily service for things like towels and shampoo. It was quiet and peaceful, and the comfortable beds helped us sleep well after sightseeing. The luggage service was really convenient too: we could explore London without hauling our cases around before check-in and after checkout. The hotel is close to train stations and bus stops, and we’d definitely recommend it.
