Reception staff were amazing and the location was good, and housekeeping did a good job. But the furnishings, decor and furniture condition were all hard to praise. Carpets, couches and chairs were very tattered and stained, and the owners really should replace the furniture. The nightly and weekly rates are high for a property in this condition.

We paid a high price expecting a real five-star stay, but this didn’t even meet a four-star standard. Housekeeping was poor: rooms were cleaned only on weekdays, with no service on weekends, and even the weekday clean was very basic. The rooms are extremely outdated, worn and neglected, and need renovation. The lack of care for cleanliness and comfort was disappointing. Both upkeep and service need major improvement to justify the property’s rating and rates.

There was no hot water for two days in cold London weather, and despite reporting it several times, nobody fixed it. One staff member was rude and said, “You’re just complaining for no reason. If you have a problem, talk to the management!” Management never answered or followed up. The apartment was very old and poorly maintained, the cleaning was terrible, and they even put on torn bed sheets. This was extremely disappointing and nothing like what you’d expect from a supposed five-star property. Poor service, unprofessional staff and zero management accountability. I’d never stay again and don’t recommend it to anyone.

The apartment looked nothing like the booking photos. It was much smaller and full of old, worn furniture. Flies were everywhere, and the bed linen had obvious yellow stains, so it didn't look as if it had been changed before we arrived. The bathroom sink was blocked and wouldn't drain properly during our stay. On two mornings there was no hot water at all, which is unacceptable, especially for a place rated five stars. Noise from upstairs kept disturbing us, and the lift stopped working at certain times. We had to carry a buggy up and down the stairs because of it. This was one of the worst places I've stayed. The conditions ruined our stay and didn't meet even basic expectations. Absolutely disgusting and worthless. I don't understand how anyone can praise this place. Avoid!
