The food and drinks selection is impressive and fits the hotel's high standards. The design across the property, from the rooms to the entrance and bar, has timeless elegance and a real sense of quality. The Connaught is truly an exceptional hotel. From arrival, we felt warmly welcomed. Service was impeccable, professional and attentive while still feeling personal and genuinely warm. We had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to coming back.

It's one of the best quiet spots in central London. Buckingham Palace is up to a 20-minute walk away, and Westminster Abbey about 30 minutes on foot. The hotel team provided service at the highest level and did everything they could to help. I'd strongly recommend it for a London business or leisure trip. There's a small construction site in the back alley right now, but it didn't disturb us at all.

We spent Saturday night here with the kids, and they really spoiled us. The room was unbelievable and the food was truly amazing. The children had the best time and were so pleased with the gift and treats waiting in the room. We'll definitely come back!

I used to love this hotel and it was my absolute favourite in London. My friend and I were frequent guests over the years. We'd eaten in the restaurants, visited all three bars, had lunch and dinner here, and stayed at the hotel several times. The staff knew us and we always felt welcome, until today. We walked in to reserve a table at one of the hotel's restaurants for next week. My friend had a takeaway coffee with her. At the entrance, a woman, possibly a concierge, looked at us and asked, “Can I help you?” in a cold, unfriendly tone. It didn't feel like a polite greeting, more like we had to explain why we were there. Shortly afterward, my friend was told to leave the hotel because she had the coffee. The way it was handled felt unnecessary, inhospitable, and frankly humiliating, especially after years of supporting the hotel. I asked to speak with a manager. He apologized, which I appreciate, but the damage was done. The incident ruined our day and our desire to return, even to the restaurant. Luxury isn't just interiors or reputation, it's also how people are treated. One unprofessional interaction has turned my former favourite London hotel into somewhere I no longer feel welcome. It's deeply disappointing when one staff member's behavior undermines a hotel that prides itself on excellence.

A beautiful weekend at the connaught. Wow, wow, wow. The staff were exceptional and so welcoming. Sigrid looked after us from beginning to end and helped plan the perfect proposal. Such a beautiful experience. Thank you so much to the connaught.
