Crowne Plaza London Heathrow T4

The lounge is a nice extra, and the restaurant served excellent food. Staff were amazing and helpful. We found the rooms comfortable and clean, with everything we needed, though the bathroom water pressure was honestly too low. It’s an ideal place to stay before an early flight from T4, just a five-minute walk inside to the terminal.

If I’m in London again, I’ll stay here just for the wild fried chicken, regardless of what else I do in the city. Those hot and spicy wings are the thing to remember. They’re available through room service 24 hours, and they cook them so fast. I’ve stayed at hotels in lots of countries, and this room service was unbelievably quick and efficient. Best fried chicken ever. The coating is next-level crisp, the bluecheese sauce is chef’s kiss, and the wings are huge. No idea if those chickens were doing weight training before they died or what 😭🫶🏻💖 The body wash and hand soap smell lovely too. Everyone in the restaurant, at reception and in roomservice was super duper sweet 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

The room was clean and nicely presented, and the dinner was excellent, though the Tower Burger could easily feed two. Staff were warm and engaging when I stopped for a drink and sandwich, just as they’d been with the quick, welcoming check-in. The hotel is close to the airport and reasonably priced. Finding the tunnel back to the hotel from departures can be confusing.

For an early flight, this was just what I needed. The room and bathroom were spotless, and check-in was very quick. It’s easy to get there from the Underground, about a ten-minute walk from the carriage. The morning shuttle runs roughly every 30 minutes and takes about half an hour to reach the terminal because it stops at several other hotels first. A good location for an early flight, and everything was as expected.
