The room had plenty of storage, and you could slide your suitcase under the bed to keep things tidy. It was clean, with a TV, hairdryer, plug-in wall heater, kettle, tea, and coffee. The room was already lovely and warm, so I didn’t need the heater. Housekeeping came daily to empty the bins, bring fresh towels, and change the bedding. I’d booked a single room and shared a bathroom on the lower floor. For the money, this hotel in the heart of beautiful Belgravia ticks all the boxes.

Victoria Coach Station is just 2 minutes on foot, which is handy if you arrive by coach. You can leave your luggage at the hotel before check-in or after checkout and head straight out exploring. The location is right in the city centre, with Buckingham Palace about a 10-minute walk and Big Ben and the London Eye roughly 20 minutes away. Underground and city bus connections are convenient, and Belgravia is a lovely, charming neighbourhood that still feels central. The price is good for what you get. I’ve stayed in the family, double, and single rooms: the family room is fantastic if you’re lucky enough to find it available, and I attached pictures of it. The double is excellent for the price and location. The single was fine, though not as impressive as the other two, and still very good value. Highly recommended for a practical, budget-friendly central London stay.

Great location and good transport links, but the room looked nothing like the pictures. It was filthy, with dirt, mould, damp, and thick dust all over the surfaces, plus a broken shower door and bed. I should have read the bad reviews before booking, so take this as a warning: only book if you’re really desperate. Another reviewer called it a dive, and I can’t say they were wrong. I couldn’t leave and find another hotel at the last minute. The hotel has conveniently ignored both me and Expedia about compensation. After seeing how they respond to criticism on google reviews, I’m not surprised by the state or the lack of standards and customer service.

BED BUG INFESTATION. I left early and checked into a hotel down the road after discovering the mysterious bites all over me were from bedbugs. I’ve tried to contact management, but they haven’t replied, which makes me think they know and don’t care. DISGUSTING. I’m waiting for a refund, and I’ve contacted the Booker and am waiting to hear back from the local authority because the hotel clearly doesn’t care.

The room was basic, but it had what I needed for the price. I was in London for one night to meet friends, and the location was great, with plenty to do nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful at check-in.
